We understand that picking the right size when shopping for clothes online isn’t always easy, so we’ve created this straightforward sizing guide to help you determine which size will work best for you.

Please note: Since all our garments are individually handcrafted, slight variations of up to ±1 cm may occur from piece to piece.

How to measure your head circumference?

Use a flexible measuring tape and wrap it around your head

placing it about 1 cm above your ears
passing it across the center of your forehead, about 1–2 cm above your eyebrows
around the bump at the back of your head, forming a complete circle.
Keep the tape snug but not too tight.

LE BOB METIS is inspired by a WW2 denim Daisy Mae/U.S. NAVY white service hat called "dixie cup".

It will protect you from the scorching sunlight at sea and give your look a touch of cool. For a strong sailor look, you can wear it with the brim up.

A three seasons essential that will fit perfectly with La Vareuse Métis and Le Pantalon Métis.

LE BOB METIS is crafted from a Métis cotton/linen fabric woven by Manufacture Métis in France.

Although sturdy, the Métis fabric offers a soft and lightweight feel, that will develop a patina over time.

Wash inside out at 40°C and lay flat to dry.
After washing, iron the garment carefully and gently re-shape it by hand.
Due to its rigidity, linen may pull on the cotton fibers. Light stretching helps restore the original structure and alignment of the cotton threads.

The hat will shrink slightly after washing and it might feel tight for about 30 minutes; but don’t worry, it will loosen up and settle into a perfect fit!
